Seeds of Hope

Have you every seen a woman with one working hand make a bracelet?

There were moments during recording the video, I thought to myself this step is taking too long. But in watching the video you can’t tell that threading the needle too almost 5 minutes in its self.

I found myself feeling sad because my inablitiy to work and help my family financially. I was due to start my new job as a teachers assistant weeks after the accident. Needless to say that didn’t happen. As we eek closer to year 8, I need to feel like I’m doing something…be creative and use the pieces inside me that yearn to break out. I recenty made a few for gifts for my family, and besides the creative outlet, it’s a great occupational therapy exercise. So I continued to bead.Every braclet has one gold “seed” bead that in my over Spritiualizing brain connects them all together. I will try to include my thoughts of coloring in the descriptions. There will be many that have words spelled out in morse code. I will make sure to include that word. No two bracelets are identically made on purpose. I have no guarantees that they will not break. I do my best to make sure they are tied tightly. I try my best to keep them around the 7 inch woman’s wrist size. If you haven’t seen my time lapse video there is a green square I use to estimate size. I often take apart a strand if it isn’t long enough, or something doesn’t feel right.I am asking $10 for each braclet if you can pick it up and $13 for me to mail it to you.

Double stranded strech bracelet. The strand with the smaller blue bead has the word “Survior ” written in morse code. I’ve learned you can be a Survivor in many difficult situations in life. The blue color is a reminder to breathe though the hard.
